file formats
- Files using Beida Founder and Huaguang encodings must be in Simple Text (.txt) format
- Files using Unicode and National Standard Extended encoding can be Unicode TXT, Rich Text Format (.rtf) or HTML (.html) file formats. They can not be Simple Text (.txt) files
- Files using the three transliter-ation schemes can be in any of the four supported file formats;
- Files using Bandrida and Tong-yuan encodings must be in one of following three file formats: Simple Text (.txt), Rich Text Format (.rtf) or HTML (.html)
- For all other legacy encodings, files must be saved as either Rich Text Format (.rtf) or HTML (.html)
